New Delhi, Nov 7 (ANI): Dr. Jorge Sampaio, Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for the fight against Tuberculosis and Special Representative for the Alliance of the Civilizations called on Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss here today.
Dr. Sampaio who is on his official visit to India from November 2-7 in connection with attending the board meeting of the Global Fund for fighting against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria called on Dr. Ramadoss to discuss issues pertaining to the ongoing Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme in India.
Dr. Sampaio is also the former President of the Republic of Portugal. (ANI)
