UK Prime Minister David Cameron to visit India

New Delhi, July 26 (ANI): The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, will be paying a three-day State Visit to India beginning on Tuesday.
David Cameron will begin his official visit from Bangalore, where he will visit HAL, Infosys, Narayana Health City and hold a meeting with Karnataka Governor HR Bhardwaj before reaching New Delhi for official engagements on July 29.
He will be accompanied by William Hague, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs; George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer; Vincent Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills; Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport; David Wiletts, MOS for Universities and Science; Gregory Barker, MOS for Department for Energy and Climate Change; and Peter Ricketts, National Security Advisor.
The Ministers would also separately visit Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore before joining their Prime Minister in New Delhi.
The Prime Minister would also be accompanied by a delegation including CEOs of leading business houses, Vice Chancellors of reputed universities, other dignitaries and senior officials.
Besides delegation level talks with Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, David Cameron will call on President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj. (ANI)
