Goregaon(Mumbai), Jan.7 (ANI): A day ahead of release of the controversial film, ‘Zenda’ Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray chose to provoke his cousin and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray by advocating the release of controversial Marathi film ‘Zenda’ to the public.

“The film shows actual picture of the man (suggesting Raj) and there is no reason for raising any objection against it. He also said that people should watch this film,” said Uddhav Thackeray while speaking in Goregaon where he came to inaugurate a Photo Fare 2010 exhibition.

Without naming Raj Thackeray, Uddhav said that the banners have been displayed at various places by showing finger of the person who even does not work for people.

Whereas Raj Thackeray, who came to MIG on Thursday in Bandra for the music release of Marathi film ‘Shikshanacha ieecha gho’ refused to talk about ‘Zenda’.

It is important to note that ‘Zenda ‘ marathi film is based on feud between Uddhav and Raj Thackeray.

Uddhav has been shown in the film in good light whereas Raj Thackeray comparatively has been shown in not so much good light.

The film ‘Zenda’ has been scripted, directed and produced by Avdhoot Gupte, who is a friend of Uddhav.

Film will be released in Maharashtra on January 8 (Friday). Its special show was organised for Thackerays. (ANI)
