Two ULFA militants arrested in Guwahati
March 23rd, 2011 - 10:26 pm ICT by ANIGuwahati, Mar 23 (ANI): Two United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) militants, suspected to be involved in the bomb blast at the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee office, have been arrested here today.
Acting on a tip off, police arrested the militants of the banned outfit. Police also recovered mobile SIM card and debit card from them.
Further investigation is going on.
On March 17, another ULFA cadre suspected to be involved in the explosion was arrested by the police.
It may be recalled that the powerful explosion left five persons injured including senior Congress party leaders. (ANI)
