Two terrorists killed in Kashmir
April 21st, 2011 - 6:14 pm ICT by IANSJammu, April 21 (IANS) Two terrorists were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s mountainous Kishtwar district Thursday, police said.
The gun battle erupted after state police and Rashtriya Rifles personnel raided a militant hideout deep inside a jungle in Sarwar area, about 200 km northeast of Jammu.
“Two terrorists were killed. We are conducting further searches in the area,” a police officer told IANS over phone.
He said that the slain terrorists were yet to be identified.
