Two soldiers killed in Kashmir
November 16th, 2009 - 2:19 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Srinagar, Nov 16 (ANI): Two soldiers were killed while foiling an infiltration bid by militants from across the border in Keran sector in Kupwara district on Kashmir Valley early on Monday.
According to the Defence Ministry, troops noticed suspicious movement along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran Sector, and challenged the infiltrators.
However, two soldiers were killed when the heavily armed militants opened fire.
Troops returned the fire and the gun battle was going on, Defence spokesperson added. (ANI)
