Two policemen killed by militants in Kashmir
November 1st, 2009 - 3:52 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Srinagar, Nov 1 (IANS) Two police men were killed by separatist guerrillas in a hit-and-run attack in this Jammu and Kashmir capital Sunday, police said.
A senior police officer told IANS that separatist guerrillas fired at Head Constable Manzoor Ahmad and Constable Abdul Kabir from close range at Qamarwari chowk, 4 km from here.
“Both the injured men were taken to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries,” the officer said.
The officer said the policemen were on duty when the militants fired at them.
