Two policemen injured as miscreants pelt stones in Kashmir
August 21st, 2010 - 9:26 pm ICT by ANISrinagar, Aug.20 (ANI): Two police personnel were injured during stone-pelting incidents reported from different parts of Kashmir on Saturday.
At Sheikhpora area of Budgam district, some miscreants pelted stones upon the police party in which constable Abdul Qayoom sustained head injuries and Constable Gulzar Ahmad sustained injuries on his forehead.
Both of them were rushed to hospital for medical attention.
In another incident, at a bus stand in Shopian area, some miscreants pelted stones on police vehicles and prompted security personnel to chase them away.
In a separte incident some miscreants tried to block Airport road at Humhama area. (ANI)
