Two militants killed in Kupwara gun battle
July 22nd, 2010 - 12:40 pm ICT by ANIKupwara (Jammu and Kashmir), July 22 (ANI): At least two militants were killed in a gun battle with secuirty forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara District on Wednesday night.
Acting on a tip off, security forces cordoned off the Rajwar forest area in Handwara, around 90 kilometers from Kupwara District, where the militants were reported to be hiding.
The militants opened fire on the search party, following which both were killed. (ANI)
