Two coaches of metro train derail in Kolkata, no injuries
October 20th, 2010 - 4:32 pm ICT by ANIKolkata, Oct.20 (ANI): Passengers of Dumdum-Central Station metro train escaped a major accident after two coaches of a metro train derailed near Central station in Kolkata on Wednesday.
The incident occurred between Central Station and MG Road station. No injuries were reported after the incident.
Police fire brigade personnel evacuated passengers through the driver’s cabin door.
Metro services were suspended after the incident. (ANI)
