Two BSF troopers shot in Srinagar
January 2nd, 2010 - 2:44 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Srinagar, Jan 2 (IANS) Suspected militants shot and wounded two paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) troopers Saturday when they were withdrawing cash from an ATM here in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
A police officer said the attack took place in Soura locality. Both were shot at from close range.
“The injured men were taken to the Soura medical institute. They are out of danger,” the officer told IANS.
The area was immediately cordoned off by police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
