Twenty villagers electrocuted in Bihar
May 14th, 2010 - 1:15 pm ICT by ANIVaishali (Bihar, May 14 (ANI): At least twenty people were electrocuted and several others injured, when a truck in which they were traveling, brushed against an electric pole in Satpura village in Bihar’s Vaishali District on Thursday.
The truck was returning from a neighbhouring village.
“Only three to four people have survived and the rest have been burnt to death. A live wire was hanging and some the people came into contact with it. They belonged to the nearby village of Hussaina,” said Raj Kishore Yadav, an eyewitness.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where the condition of some of them is said to be critical. (ANI)
