New Delhi, Jan 3 (ANI): The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao is arriving here this evening to hold talks preliminary talks with Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram nearly 48 hours ahead of the crucial all party meeting on Telangana.

Interacting with the media after his arrival at the IGI airport, Rao said: “There can not be any new expectations, the Government of India has made its policy decision very clear. There was disturbances in some parts of the state, I think they wanted to make things clear to all the parties.”

“I think the Government of India will go ahead with its decision,” he added.

The Centre has invited all eight recognized parties from Andhra Pradesh-the Congress, BJP, TDP, TRS, CPI, CPM, PRP and MIM to discuss the Telangana issue on Tuesday in New Delhi.

Rao said that he will reveal his future strategy only after Tuesday’s meeting.

Commenting on being confident about the formation of the Telengana state, Rao said: “Its not the question of being optimist or pessimist. Telengana will become a state.”

He also hinted his meetings with leaders of different political parties ahead of Tuesday’s meeting.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minster K. Rossaih is expected to arrive in the national capital on Monday morning and scheduled to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

In another development Chaattisgarh Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan, who is holding the additional charge of Andhra Pradesh, is likely to submit a report on Monday to the Union Government about the prevailing situation in the state.

Narasimhan is expected to meet Prime Minister Singh and P. Chidambaram to brief them the views of different political parties about the formation of separate Telangana state, which he gathered during a recent interaction with political parties in Hyderabad. (ANI)
