Train services resume on Khargapur-Tatanagar section
June 22nd, 2010 - 12:34 pm ICT by ANIKolkata, June 22 (ANI): Train services resumed after a bomb scare on Khargapur-Tatanagar section on Tuesday.
Earlier, a blast-like explosion was heard when the train was between West Bengal’s Gidni and Jhargram stations following which the railways suspended train services on the Khargapur-Tatanagar section.
The sound was heard at around 7.58 this morning
Meanwhile, the Railway authorities have further extended suspension of night trains till June 26.
The suspension came in force after the Gyaneshwari Express derailment near Jhargram on May 28, which claimed 148 lives. (ANI)
