Tina Turner refuses to cancel NY gig despite illness

London, Dec 4 (ANI): Legendary singer Tina Turner performed for a sell-out audience in New York, despite having been admitted to hospital a day before.
According to the New York Post, the legendary singer was said to be suffering from severe fever and was given oxygen when she was taken into medical care.
However, Turner refused to cancel the Madison Square Garden concert and went on to complete the two-and-a-half hour show, reports the Daily Star.
The 69-year-old also met with Anne Hathaway, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who attended the event as VIP guests. (ANI)
