Tell-all book on former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer pitched at 350,000 dollarsApril 26th, 2008 - 1:42 pm ICT by admin
New York, Apr.26 (ANI): A proposed book on former New York Governor Eliot Spitzers sexcapades, which ended his career in politics, is expected to fetch 350,000 dollars at the start.
Peter Elkind, a Fortune magazine writer and co-author of a book about Enron, is the author of the book. His agent, Liz Darhansoff of Darhansoff, Verrill and Feldman, refused to confirm the figure, though she said she expected to have the deal wrapped up by Friday.
“It seems like a lot of money to me, but the book will get a lot of ink, if not sales,” The New York Daily News quoted Sara Nelson, editor of Publishers Weekly, which broke the news, as saying.
“The question is that, by the time it comes out, will people have read everything they need to know in the tabloids and other papers?” (ANI)
