Team India arrives in Mumbai ahead of third Test match
November 28th, 2009 - 10:51 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Mumbai, Nov.28 (ANI): Indian cricket team members arrived here on Saturday in Mumbai ahead of the third and final test against touring Sri Lankan team.
India won in the second Test played in Kanpur on Friday (Nov.27) to take one-nil lead.
After being bowled out for 229 and 269 while chasing India’s massive total of 642, Sri Lankan could not save themselves from a humiliating defeat, as the lost by an inning and 144 runs.
The first Test match had ended in a draw after Indian batsmen didn’t allow Sri Lankan bowlers to bowl them out on the last day.
After conclusion of the three-Test match series, the two teams will play five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches as part of their two month-long tour of India.
The final Test begins on December 2. (ANI)
