Suspected militants lob grenade on army convoy in Manipur
November 20th, 2009 - 4:24 pm ICT by ANIImphal, Nov 20 (ANI): Suspected militants lobbed a grenade on an army convoy here on Thursday, injuring two soldiers.
The attack took place when the convoy of four vehicles was moving from Imphal to Thoubal near the Singjamei Bazarb market.
Officials said the two injured soldiers belonged to the Assam Rifles.
One of the injured was taken to a local hospital and the other to an army hospital.Security forces have launched a manhunt to nab the militants. (ANI)
