Sukhna land scam inquiry completed: Army
December 23rd, 2009 - 9:00 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 23 (ANI): The Indian Army on Wednesday disclosed that it has received the details of the court of inquiry report of Sukhna land scam.
In a statement the Army said : The Court of Inquiry has been completed and received by the Army Head Quarters today. The proceedings of the Inquiry will now be analyzed as per the existing Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with the military law.”
On Wednesday a section of the media published a report relating to the Sukhna Army land scam case and claimed that the inquiry report recommended disciplinary action against some of senior Defence Ministry officials.
“It is reiterated that, the Army is amongst the few organizations which is very sensitive to any irregularities and have proactively sought immediate and timely action against those indulging in any wrongs,’ the statement said. (ANI)
