Sue Age, Enema Bottomley Woodthe real names that sound like a joke!October 16th, 2008 - 2:25 pm ICT by ANI
London, Oct 16 (ANI): While some kids have parents who cruelly or stupidly give them funny names, others just end up being born with a surname thats side tickling.
A number of the funniest names have been collected from the British records of births, marriages and deaths dating back centuries, and complied in a list, with Tim Spanton picking out some of the best.
The first name on the list that was eye catching was Sue Age, which belonged to a lady born in Glasgow, 1849.
The records even mentioned a person named Enema Bottomley Wood, reports the Sun.
After the two came names that worked up a persons imagination, names like Seymour Bust, Effing Dick, Golden Balls, Pleasant Titty,
Anice Bottom, Iva Longbottom, and Sexey Butt.
Other names on the list were Kenneth McShagger, Willie Stretch, Mad Looney, Constant Pain, Minnie Bar, Kitty Litter, and Dick Handler.
Some leaned more towards the holy side with names like Pete Sake, Pearly Gates, Alice May Fall, and Lettice Spray.
There were also names like Low Fat, Colly Flower, Maud Stale Bun, Basil Leaf, and Iris Tew.
These are some of the names that have been taken from Potty, Fartwell & Knob, compiled by Russell Ash, Headline 6.99 pounds. (ANI)
