Stressed out Brits too tired to have sex

London, October 2 (ANI): Long hours of work and hassle are making Brits give sex a miss, reveals a new research.

A team of researchers from Coventry University teamed up with The Work Life Balance Centre, and found that 25 percent of the people questioned by experts confessed that they were too exhausted for bedroom pleasures.

The study further revealed that the stress from work also affected their lives outside the bedroom.

More than 40 percent of the 3,000 people interviewed suffered from depression and 35 percent of them said they had panic attacks.

While 36 per cent Scots confessed to an almost dead sex life, only 11.9 per cent couples in the West Midlands said their long hours in work affected their sexual life.

There is a worrying increase in depression and anxiety among workers, the Daily star quoted Julie Hurst, the centres director as saying.

She said: And now this seems to be extending to peoples home life, leaving many people too tired for sex.

The rise in depression and anxiety is a worrying theme.

It is a silent epidemic as people who are off with depression will rarely talk about it to colleagues when they return to work. (ANI)
