New York, Nov 20 (ANI): American actor Stephen Baldwin has revealed that he was only kidding when he made the promise on Fox News to leave the country if Barack Obama was elected president.
He praised Obama, and said that the President-elect had his full support.
The liberal Democrats who didn”t get that I was joking need to lighten up,” the born-again Christian told Page Six, the New York Post quoted him as saying.
Obama is obviously talented and intelligent, and I have great respect for the man. He’’s got my full support, and I”m gonna be praying for him and his administration, he said.
Baldwin, who will host the fund-raiser for 146 Love on November 21, a charity that seeks to end Asia’’s child-sex trade, still does not support gay marriage.
If they legalize gay marriage in all 50 states in my lifetime, I”ll get a Billy Ray Cyrus tattoo on my butt to go with the Hannah Montana one, he added. (ANI)
