Sopore gunbattle ends, militants flee
January 31st, 2010 - 12:47 pm ICT by ANISopore (J-K), Jan 31 (ANI): The gunbattle between militants and security forces in Sopore town of Baramulla District ended today, but militants fled from the house where they were holed up.
According to sources, Troops of 22 Rashtriya Rifles and the Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir fought the militants, but they managed to give a slip.
A manhunt has been launched for the militants who engaged security forces in a fierce gunfight. (ANI)
