Somnath Chatterjee discharged from hospital
November 8th, 2008 - 1:54 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Nov 8 (ANI): Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee has been discharged from the Army’’s Research and Referral Hospital on Saturday.
Chatterjee, 79, had been admitted to the hospital on November 5 and underwent treatment for bronchopneumonia.
Doctors have advised him complete rest for a week.
Bronchopneumonia is a type of pneumonia characterised by an inflammation of the lung generally associated with and following a bout of bronchitis. (ANI)
