Soldier shot dead by colleague in Kashmir
February 20th, 2010 - 8:36 pm ICT by IANSJammu, Feb 20 (IANS) A soldier was shot dead by his colleague in Jammu and Kashmir Saturday, army sources said.
According to the sources, Gurjit Singh and Neelesh Prakash Yadav had a heated argument in the army camp at Puldoda, about 175 km northeast of Jammu. Gurjit Singh suddenly opened fire at Yadav with his rifle, killing him instantly.
The cause of the row was not known. The army has instituted a court of inquiry. Gurjit Singh has been arrested.
