Bharatiya Janata Party New Delhi, July 25 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday said that former State Home Minister of Gujarat, Amit Shah is being framed in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.

Speaking during a press conference, BJP spokesperson Tarun Vijay said this to state the party’s reaction over the arrest of Amit Shah by the CBI at Gandhinagar earlier in the day.

He said Shah despite being framed in the case has been very responsive to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

“Amit Shah has fully cooperated under the powers vested in him as per the Indian laws and we are hopeful that the Indian public will understand that in the case of an anti-national criminal and militant like Sohrabuddin, how innocent Indian patriots are being put behind the bars, the police officials are being tortured and now Amit Shah’s name is being deliberately framed without any evidence in this case. But we will come clean and clear out of this case,” said Tarun Vijay.

Vijay blamed that CBI records are being misused by the central government and even termed CBI of having become a petty dirty tricks department in a backyard of Congress party. (ANI)
