Snowfall delights tourists in Manali
February 16th, 2011 - 7:05 pm ICT by ANIManali , Feb 16 (ANI) : Fresh snowfall has delighted tourists in the hill town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday.
Locals as well as tourists enjoyed the snowy and chilly weather of the state.
Theo, a tourist from Canada, said that she loves northern part of India the most.
“I like the north of India. It’s wonderful and beautiful. I think everybody should go there,” said Theou.
Tourists could be seen enjoying the snowfall as they took to skiing and other snow sports organised by local operators.
“We enjoy snowfall. It’s like a magic because normally when you see around you see big mountains but because of snowfall you see nothing.It’s wonderful.” said Devanik, a tourist from Canada.
Manali received its fifth snowfall of the season on Wednesday.
The major tourist spots of the state including Rohtang Pass, Mandi, Gulaba and Solang Nala are snow-covered, and a huge draw for tourists. (ANI)
