Six CRPF troopers hurt in accidental blast
September 21st, 2012 - 12:24 am ICT by IANSJammu, Sep 20 (IANS) Six troopers of paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were Thursday injured in an accidental smoke shell blast during training in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
The incident took place at Nagrota, about 16 km north of Jammu.
“A smoke shell kept at the training ground exploded accidentally while the troopers were being trained,” said CRPF sources.
The injuries were not serious and the troopers were shifted to Government Medical College for treatment, they said.
