Sir Alex Ferguson knows his wines as well as his soccer

London, October 3 (ANI): Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson, 66, has some tips on how to enjoy good vintage wines.
His suggestions can help fans pick good quality wines for less than 50 pounds.
Sir Alex, who is an avid collector of vintage reds, says that it is always good to choose a good year first, such as his sides 1996 Double-winning year.
First of all you need to pick a good year 1996 was a good year, British tabloid The Sun quoted him as saying.
Theres a nice wine called Pavie Decesse, which is a Saint-Emilion.
You could probably get that for about PS30, he added.
Sir Alex is known for criticising a wine former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho had offered him after their sides met in 2004. (ANI)
