Shinde launches APDRP web portal
February 25th, 2009 - 9:17 pm ICT by ANI New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Union Minister of Power Sushilkumar Shinde today launched the web-portal of Restructured Accelerated Power Development Programme (R-APDRP).

The R-APDRP launched with an objective to reduce Aggregate Technical and Commercial losses to a level of 15 per cent in Power Distribution Sector envisaging an investment of Rs.51, 577 crores.
Power Finance Corporation, PFC has been designated as the Nodal Agency for implementation of this ambitious Programme.
Under this Programme, PFC has already sanctioned projects worth Rs.1751 crore in 535 towns of nine States. (ANI)
