London, December 4 (ANI): Actor Shia LaBeouf has reportedly been roped in for a film adaptation of John Grisham’’s latest book The Associate.
The young comedian, who shot to prominence by starring in the Disney Channel series Even Stevens, is said to have bagged the title role in the forthcoming legal thriller, that will be up for grabs in January next year, reports the Daily Express.
The Indiana Jones star will allegedly star as a Yale Law School graduate who is provided with confidential information about a multi-billion dollar lawsuit.
The 22-year-old might also fall in the league of high-profile actors such as Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman, who have all led the Grisham adaptations.
