New Delhi, Apr 1 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit shook a leg during a function here on Wednesday, held to introduce nominees of Congress party from Delhi for the coming general elections.

Dikshit, who led Congress party to victory in last year’s Assembly polls for the third consecutive term, is hopeful of winning all the seven seats this time.

Expressing confidence on the party nominees, Dikshit said, “Our lawmakers are elected to the parliament, all of them are excellent candidates. They are busy with their work and we are behind them.”

In 2004, Congress party had won six of the total seven Parliamentary seats in the national capital.

The party has fielded all the six sitting MPs and has chosen sitting legislator (Delhi Assembly) Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi parliamentary seat.

The 2009 general elections in Delhi are scheduled to be held on May 7. (ANI)
