Shashi Kant Sharma takes over as Secretary in Finance Ministry
February 9th, 2011 - 7:43 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Feb 9 (ANI): Shashi Kant Sharma, a 1976 Batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Bihar cadre, has taken over as Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, here on Wednesday.
Sharma has succeeded R. Gopalan, who has been recently appointed as Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance.
Prior to this appointment, he was Secretary, Department of Information Technology in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. (ANI)
