New Delhi, Feb.22 (ANI): Nijma Heptulla, Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, released her collection of poems in Delhi on Monday.
BJP leader, Lal Krishna Advani released her book ‘Impressions’ in the presence of fellow politicians and people from the literary world.
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Heptulla’s nephew were present on the occasion.
“When I read her work I was most impressed, I think it is extremely courageous of her, infact any one to express themselves through poetry.” said Amir.
Heptulla, attributed this book to her aunt and said, “I am not a poetess, but an aunt who brought me up, she was an Urdu poetess and she wrote a lot of poetry. She taught me Urdu and perhaps it is her influence on me which made me to write these poems.”
