Patna, Jan 28 (ANI): Security has been tightened across Bihar on Thursday ahead of the shutdown called by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in protest against soaring commodity and food prices in the country.
Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party and the Left Parties are supporting this shutdown.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said the shutdown is being organised to protest against the lack of facilities for common people and the high prices.
Essential services like water, electricity and railways have been exempted from the shutdown. (ANI)
