Sean Penn wanted more sex scenes in gay biopic Milk
December 3rd, 2008 - 6:22 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 3 (ANI): American actor Sean Penn is said to have urged writers to put in more raunchy scenes in his new gay biopic Milk.
Actor James Franco, who also had a major role in the biopic about Californias first openly gay elected official, revealed that he was surprised to find more same-sex sex scenes in the script after Sean complained.
In the original script I read, there was only one real kissing scene, the Sun quoted him as saying.
A month after the director Gus Van Sant asked me to do it, they sent me another script and on page five there was a full-on love scene.
And I was like, Gus, what the heck? He said, Well, it was Sean’’s idea, he added.
The movie Milk will be released worldwide on January 16. (ANI)
