New Delhi, Feb 1, (ANI): Fraud-hit Satyam Computer Services will be receiving Excellence in Practice Award for its Talent Preparation Services from American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Talent Preparation Service is an on boarding program by Satyam, which decreased time-to-competency for its employees.
Satyam, Indias fourth largest company for software export will be getting this award at a time when it is facing a lot of trouble on its accounts.
Carol Chulew, the director of ASTD said in a statement that Satyam would be presented with an Excellence in Practice Award for its internal talent preparation, on June 1, 2009.
ASTD is an organization committed to workplace learning. It has members from over 100 countries.
Excellence in Practice Award has been given to those proven practices, which have appropriate design values and deliver clear and measurable results for their organizations.
This award is a big relief for Satyam, which is currently going through a big trouble after its founder Ramalinga Raju and three other accused were caught in the firms massive scam. (ANI)
