Satyam is retaining its clients: Parekh

Mumbai, Jan 21, (ANI): The fraud-hit Satyam Comuters Ltd is making attempts to secure funds and retain its international clients to regain their lost.

Speaking to Media, Deepak parekh, one of the members of Satyams newly setup board said, its new board would meet on January 22 nd and 23 rd to discuss issues including appointments of top executives and ways to raise funds.

Parekh said that they have recieved a mixed response from their domestic and foreign clients and they are not happy with the status of companys current accounts.

Satyam Computers Ltd has received around 40 applications for the post of CEO and CFO and it would consider appointments in Thursdays meeting.

The investigation into the forged documents is on and due to the involvement of many agencies it could take some time to find out the facts, Parekh said.

Board has kept all options open and asked its sales team to recover the receivables as early as possible.

Deepak Parekh, who is also the Chairman of HDFC Bank, said, We have asked our sales team to get the receivables back as we have a large set of receivables to recover.
Parekh also opined that a few stray instances of mis-governance would not mar the countrys standing. (ANI)
