Sadhvi Pragya arrested in Sunil Joshi murder case
February 26th, 2011 - 9:46 pm ICT by ANIMumbai, Feb 26(ANI): Madhya Pradesh police have arrested Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, one of the prime accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, in connection with the murder of Sunil Joshi, a suspect in the Samjhauta Express blast case.
Pragya had been undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s J J Hospital.
Mumbai’s Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) had earlier claimed that she formed a group to take revenge for the Mumbai train bomb blasts and that her motorcycle was used in the bomb blast. This motorcycle was a key evidence in her arrest.
Pragya had reportedly visited Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader Joshi before his murder.
Joshi was killed at Dewas in December 2007 by his co-conspirators as he was ‘not behaving properly’. (ANI)
