S P workers celebrate Mulayam Singh’s birthday in Lucknow
November 22nd, 2010 - 10:24 pm ICT by ANILucknow, Nov.22 (ANI): Scores of Samajwadi Party workers gathered here on Monday to celebrate the 72nd birthday of their party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Samajwadi Party spokesperson Rajendra Chowdhary said they were celebrating this day as a ‘resolution day’, as they wanted to follow the path of Singh to bring down what they called the corrupt Uttar Pradesh Government.
“We are celebrating the 72nd birthday of Mulayam Singh, Chief of Samajwadi Party as resolution day. Although he is in the Parliament and fighting for the justice of the farmers but all the party members all over Uttar Pradesh is celebrating this day and taking this resolution that we would all follow the path of our leader and would surely bring down the corrupt government in 2012,” said Chowdhary.
Yadav’s Samajwadi Party has 22 members in the Lok Sabha. (ANI)
