New Delhi, Mar. 24 (ANI): A two-day national conference and exhibition on technology solutions for rural service delivery began here this morning.

Inaugurating the conference, Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Kapil Sibal said that benefits of information communication technology (ICT) must reach villages, including the remote and far flung areas.

Innovative technologies need to be found which are rugged to sustain the problems of electricity and rough use, Sibal added.

The conference will provide a platform of meaningful interaction among all stakeholders to deliberate, interact and recommend an actionable strategy for good governance and to improve the standard of services rendered to the common man.
