Road accidents claim nine lives in Assam

According to officials, the family was driving in their car from Guwahati to Nagaon; the car hit a divider at Phulogouri in Nagaon district and burst into flames, leaving the family that included two children dead.
The bodies of the dead are yet to be identified.
In another incident, three persons were killed in an auto rickshaw-truck collision at Bonda area in Guwahati.In yet another road accident that took place today, a person recognised as Qutubuddin Ahmed got killed in Nagaon district, while his wife was admitted to the hospital on account of severe injuries.
