Republic Day parade participants meet President Patil

New Delhi, Jan. 27 (ANI): Artists and NCC cadets, who were part of the cultural troupes that participated in this year’s Republic Day celebrations here, met President Pratibha Patil on Wednesday.
Patil met the artists and applauded their efforts. The artists presented dance performances to the president.
Artisans from across the country had prepared their themed tableaux months in advance to give the best representation of their respective states.
The tableaux were a veritable treat to the eye. (ANI)
