Washington , July 30 (ANI): Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has denied reports that he had a role in the ISI, of first putting under the control of Prime Minister and then back under interior ministers purview, and said that those who would be found guilty for it would be punished.
Malik said that he had absolutely nothing to do with the controversial notification to take over ISI and IB, and that when he returns to Pakistan he would see that some heads roll immediately for this blunder, reported The News.
According to him, the notification was issued by some bureaucrats, including some from ISI, without getting proper approvals from competent authorities and he would see to it that those responsible were held accountable.
Malik is currently is accompanying Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on his first Washington visit.
