Rajasthan CM satisfied with alertness of forces against terrorists
October 20th, 2010 - 1:50 pm ICT by ANIAjmer, Oct 20 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed satisfaction over the working and alertness of the state police particularly the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) and said the state security agencies were capable to deal with terrorists threats and foil terror designs.
Talking to the media here on Tuesday, Gehlot said it was the state security agency’s alertness and efficiency that led to arrest of terrorist wanted in the 2008 Bangalore serial blasts.
He said the security agencies and sleuths were geared up well to provide due security at the famous Pushkar fair to be held next month.
“The Pushkar Mela would be organised in a good manner. There is a lot of enthusiasm and there was good monsoon in the state; we can see the enthusiasm of it as well. The fair would be very successful,” said Gehlot. (ANI)
