Rahul Gandhi starts youth Congress membership campaign
February 22nd, 2009 - 2:24 pm ICT by ANI ( 746 comments )Rajkot, Feb 22 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today visited the border district of Kutch in Gujarat to further accelerate the youth Congress membership campaign.
Gandhi will pay homage to Kasturba Gandhi on her death anniversary today at Gandhiji’’s ancestral home in Rajkot.
He will then meet local youth Congress leaders at Kishanpara chowk in Rajkot and interact with women from the Young Women’’s Convention at Hemu Gadhvi Hall.
Gandhi will also visit Bhujodi to see Kutchi handicrafts and meet artisans.
This is his third visit to Gujarat in last the 20 days, just ahead of Lok Sabha polls.
The Congress party has started a pilot project in Punjab to increase the strength of the Youth Congress through open elections.
In Punjab, the strength of the Youth Congress has increased from 30,000 members to more than 3.5 lakh after the introduction of the project. (ANI)

Mr.Rahul Gandhi.I am Aradhana from Etawah U.P.I am very happy on finding at least one leader that thinks so deeply about this country and the youth of the country.I always spported Congress Party since i awared about all that.I also want to join the Party.I know it will take time but i think i can send my thoughts to u with a hope that u will consider them.Mid day Meal Scheam that is being run by Centeral Gov. is good but there are a lot bad thing about this scheam also like -there is no extra staff in schools to hendle this.Even teaching staff is not proper in the school.Then tell me what should teachers do? Should they give their time to their students to teach them or they should give their time in the mannagement of Mid Day Meal.I have many question to discuss. I really wanna make some changes to shine my country but the only problem is that I donot have power and those who have power donot know to use it.I am sorry if i have written anything wrong here.

Till yesterday I didn’t have any 2nd thought of getting into politics or to speak even. But for a long years I’m totally getting disappointed the way our peoples’ mentality & on discipline factor. Today no one wants to wait for anything & not even cares for others. If I want to bring a little bit of discipline around me I’m fooled off. SHAHZAD(AL ANSAR MILLAT WELFARE SOCIETY,Basar Bigha,Soh Sarai,Bihar Sharif,Nalanda) :’Nitish Has Good Intentions But His Govt Has Failed’ On a mission to build his party in poll-bound Bihar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today stated that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was a man of good intentions but his government has thoroughly failed in implementation of welfare schemes like NREGA.Addressing a press conference here, Gandhi also alleged that 20 to 30 per cent of funds under NREGA were going to “middlemen” in Bihar.He also alleged that the money given by Centre for the Kosi flood victims did not reach the needy.Asked about the state government’s demand for Rs 14,800 crore for infrastructure development in the Kosi region where there was a devastaing flood in 2008, Gandhi said Rs 1,000 crore was given to the state for relief and rehabilitation.”It is a huge amount, but it did not reach the people,” he said.”The intention of Nitish Kumar is good but his government has been a total failure on the implementation front,” he said.He was replying to questions on his remarks during the Lok Sabha elections that Nitish Kumar was a good leader with good intentions.On allegations that adequate Central assistance was not reaching Bihar, Gandhi said, “During the NDA regime, Rs 50,000 crore were given to Bihar while the UPA government has sent Rs 96,000 crore to the state.”It is nearly a 100 per cent increase. Assistance will go up but fund utilisation is a problem. Money is not reaching the poor under NREGA and for schools and hospitals. There is no dearth of money but there is only lack of an efficient delivery mechanism to people and resultant utilisation,” he said.He lauded the Congress governments in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Assam and Rajasthan for bringing assistance to the poor through NREGA. On price rise, Gandhi said he has spoken to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and action was being taken to tackle the problem.”One aspect of it relates to the developments on the international front, while the other is hoarding and this has to be dealt with by the state governments”, he said.Gandhi said that a “major change” will come in Bihar with more and more young people joining the Congress party.Yesterday, the youth leader had annbounced that the Congress will contest the Bihar Assembly Elections, due this year end, on its own, the way it did during the Lok Sabha polls in the NDA-ruled state.. “Congress workers will fight for the rights of the people without fear and bring change in Bihar. Congress will contest on its own,” AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to the state to galvanise party workers ahead of the polls, said today at Bettiah.

we 165 GRS (from orissa DT-khurda,pin-752028)are suffering for not giving salary regularly.we are appointed for NREGS and we are doing our work regularly.we are apointed since 1.1.2009 but till now we did not get salary.please sir take some action about it.our state goverment enforce us to use machine .please help us

I am rajesh from tamilndu.as i observed since 2008 the way you are working and approching and analizing the leaders and tamilnadu peoples,its exellent for lifiting the congress in tamilnadu.while you are visiting trichy its great energy for youth congress members.

Our Indians’ Money - 70, 00,000 Crores Rupees In Swiss Bank
1) Yes, 70 lakhs crores rupees of India are lying in Switzerland banks. This is the highest amount lying outside any country, from amongst 180 countries of the world, as if India is the champion of Black Money.
2) Swiss Government has officially written to Indian Government that they are willing to inform the details of holders of 70 lakh crore rupees in their Banks, if Indian Government officially asks them.
3) On 22-5-08, this news has already been published in The Times of India and other Newspapers based on Swiss Government’s official letter to Indian Government.
4) But the Indian Government has not sent any official enquiry to Switzerland for details of money which has been sent outside India between 1947 to 2008.. The opposition party is also equally not interested in doing so because most of the amount is owned by politicians and it is every Indian’s money.
5) This money belongs to our country. From these funds we can repay 13 times of our country’s foreign debt. The interest alone can take care of the Center s yearly budget. People need not pay any taxes and we can pay Rs. 1 lakh to each of 45 crore poor families.
6) Let us imagine, if Swiss Bank is holding Rs. 70 lakh Crores, then how much money is lying in other 69 Banks? How much they have deprived the Indian people? Just think, if the Account holder dies, the bank becomes the owner of the funds in his account.
7) Are these people totally ignorant about the philosophy of Karma? What will this ill-gotten wealth do to them and their families when they own/use such money, generated out of corruption and exploitation?
8) Indian people have read and have known about these facts. But the helpless people have neither time nor inclination to do anything in the matter. This is like “a new freedom struggle” and we will have to fight this.
9) This money is the result of our sweat and blood.. The wealth generated and earned after putting in lots of mental and physical efforts by Indian people must be brought back to our country.

And due to non-efficient congress leadership party is facing a huge same and negligence by the people of Chhatarpur(bundelkhand).

And in Chhatarpur (bundelkhand) grouping is on peak and because of this party workers are loosing their interests towards party.
At present in Chhatarpur(bundelkhand) the character of MAHABHARAT (DHRATRASTRA) is growing because of that party has got a huge loss and this is not getting communicate to the party because local laedership is trying to manipulate the things ,since they are also involved in this.
And as mentioned above we are having LIVE examle of declaration of STATE REPRESANTATIVE, in which only district level people only have got chance.
For example: NITIN CHATURVEDI is from chhatarpur and got represantation of Maaharajpur,

v r member of 7 people. my dad owns around 17oo sqft.of areas place in which v have both commercial n residential place in wadala in nadhkarni park.v have just 1 earning member.MMRDA is taking that plot n for monorail project n giving us only 1 room of 270sqft n 1 shop of 110sqft.v have submitted our all documents. but said they cant help if u want more place u’ll have to buy in 15 lacs per shop.v cant afford it .so plz look into this matter v need ur urgent help on this matter. v have no other place 2 live.v live here since last 40yrs-45 yrs. plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help.

With my fifteen years of experience, one thing I would like to tell everyone is that the probelem with India is that there is no learning taking place. We don’t teach how to think. We don’t teach the value of money. We don’t teach how to judge a person. They don’t teach about sex. Therefore we are sorrounded with wrong people. Level of English is too low. How are we going to become a world power? We should strive for innovation in education. I believe we need to make education attractive. We can teach subjects through a medium which is interesting. It is called Content-based Instruction. We need more products like Espoir Smart English through Love & Romance. The only way to make a person learn and develop alround personality is through a topic he or she is passioante about.

I have no connection in politics, but I always have a hidden feeling to get involved in social activities, and recently I heard of youth congress and also heard from “Rahul Gandhi” that he want youth to get involved in politics.
I am 25 years old and as if now I have never been part of voting for any of the election.
Reason my family members says everything is polluted and all politician are corrupted.

But being a minority i always prefer congress party, since we got the independence, congress fought for minorities, i believe congress respect minorities.
