Ahmedabad/ Ludhiana, July 27 (ANI): Bollywood actor Rahul Bose urged the nation on Sunday to stay together in the wake of the recent incidents of violence over the past two days.
Bose along with social activist Teesta Setalwad visited Civil Hospital of Ahmedabad, one of the worst affected places in the city.
Rahul urged the people of the country to stay together in this hour and called for responsible behaviour.
What I think is that we people keep on talking about social responsibility, we talk about brotherhood, we talk about peace, this is the time that we come together and this is the time to behave in a responsible fashion. We have also come here, we should show that all of us are there and together, said Rahul Bose.
Meanwhile, Muslim leaders in Punjab issued a Fatwa against the terrorists and militants.
After a meeting, the leaders said that anyone who kills innocent people should be sentenced to death.
Today we have issued a fatwa. Whosoever kills innocent people is worthy of a punishment. All the investigations that are being carried out in India, if they find someone guilty of the crime, and it is proved, then, according to Islam, that person should be either killed or hanged unto death. It is not right that innocent people who are leading a peacefully life are killed like this, said Maulana Habib-Ul-Rehman Ludhianwi, a religious Muslim leader.
