Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Nov 8 (ANI): Radical Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) -Liberation, CPI (ML)-L activists staged a rally in Bhopal on Saturday in support of Maoist rebels activists.
“We are Naxals. We support Naxals. We support revolution. We support socialism. They are Maoists. They are separate from Naxals. We oppose them. They are militants. We will garner support from the people and bring a revolution in India,” said KN Ramachandran, CPI (ML)-L National Secretary.
Of late, the Maoists have stepped up their violence across the eastern and the central India and internal security experts say it is an indication of the growing dominance of insurgents in the country.
The Maoist rebellion began four decades ago in the east, but has now spread to about 20 of India’s 29 states. The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, has warned that the rebels are the biggest internal security threat. (ANI
