Punjabi comic flick ‘Chak De Phatte’ to tickle the funny bones

Chandigarh (Punjab), Apr 26 (ANI): Punjabi audience can look forward to enjoy a comic flick ‘Chak De Phatte’, a Punjabi comedy film, which is all set to hit the screen soon.
Directed by Sameep Kang and produced by Devinder Sandhu, ‘Chak De Phatte’ stars prominent Punjabi comedians such as Jaspal Bhatti, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Vivek Shauq and Jaswinder Bhalla.
“The first unique thing about this film is that all the famous Punjabi comedians are in the movie. Secondly, we have created a comedy that portrays the craze amongst the people for going abroad and the kind of stuff they get involved to meet their aspiration,” said Jaspal Bhatti.
The comedy is about some Punjabi youth who want to get married to a rich Punjabi Non Resident Indian girl and the difficulties they encounter. “I have been doing Punjabi films for quite a long time. If Punjabi audience have given me so much love, then of course I would make a step forward to entertain my audience worldwide,” said Vivek Shauq.
Almost 70 per cent of the movie is complete and it is expected to hit the screen in August this year. (ANI)
