Protests at Borivali Station brings Western Railways to a halt

Borivali Station at peak hours Protesters got on the tracks at Borivali Station today in a protest against poor railway services in the Western sector.

The protest apparently started after a train set to depart at 9:10 am was canceled.

Thousands of protesters are today took to the tracks to express their frustration against the Western Railways. The protest affects 12 lakh people as per CNN-IBN.

Out of the Trains arriving Mumbai today, only 3 trains are held up.

Amoung other stations affected are Naigaon, Dahisar, Vasi Road, Mira Road, Nala Sopara.

Since 9:25 am today, no train has been able to leave Borivali station today.
